When contemplating the early years of your precious progeny, one has a myriad of schooling and child care options to choose from. For us, we had the benefit of having one of us (the parents) learn and grow in a Montessori institution. It is quite evident to see the contrasts between children who learn using the Montessori method vs. traditional day care. When we found out that we were expecting our first child, we immediately set forth to find a "qualified," "TRUE" Montessori school; instead of one that just had "Montessori" in the name or had a partial, half-baked commitment to the "Montessori way." Our quest brought us to MHFC. We were quite impressed with their methodology from the very start. This institution boasts Montessori trained and certified guides. The structured admissions process was quite important to us as well, as it demonstrates the institution's commitment to admit promising children and guide them through some of the most formative years in their development. Our second child started at MHFC at 18 months and we have seen a dramatic improvement in his cognitive, motor and critical analysis skills.
